IncredEscape

This easy to use utility will export all of your mail messages from Incredimail 2.

This first version exports all of your messages to EML files, including deleted messages that are still in the data files. This may make it useful if you need to recover deleted messages, not just for exporting messages.

The EML files exported by this version should import into most email programs, (including Outlook Express, Windows Mail, and Windows Live mail) using drag and drop. The messages may even be able to be imported into Thunderbird or Mac OSX mail programs; I haven't had time to try that yet.

The final version should be able to import the messages directly into Microsoft Outlook with the folder structure intact, skipping deleted messages and correctly retaining the read / unread status.

IncredEscape Download  (6 MB) Version 1.0.0.10 Beta
After downloading, Double-Click on the downloaded file 'IncredEscapeBeta.exe' to start the installation.

This download is a fully functional program.

The Version 1.0.0.10 updeates include:

  • Incredimail created Sent Items are now correctly detected and exported, even if they have been moved out of the Sent Items folder.

Known Issues:

  • Installation: If a prerequisite does not install correctly the program may not install. Workaround: Run the installer again, any missing prerequisites will try to install again.

The Version 1.0.0.9 includes:

  • Initial public release
  • Only EML export is currently supported
  • Automatically detects installed Incredimail folder and version.

Known Issues:

  • The Incredimail Sent Items folder does not export correctly. Messages in the Sent Items folder do not have quite the same format as all other messages so they end up exported to a single .eml file. - This will be Fixed soon.

Prerequisites - The installer should download install these automatically if they are not already installed on your system.
Some of these may not be needed in the final version, all unneeded prerequisites will be removed from the final version.
